Thank you for consideration in support of the students, teachers, and schools of High School BBQ, Inc. (HSBBQ). We support the methodology called project-based learning to engage and inspire high school students to learn about BBQ and compete in BBQ competitions. The competitions are designed to teach young people teamwork, problem solving, time management, leadership, sportsmanship, work ethic and to inspire a passion for BBQ.
High School BBQ, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), (Federal Tax Identification Number #83-1800494) and has been recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations will be tax deductible and may be disclosed to the IRS. All revenue generated is reinvested into educational programs, BBQ competition events, prizes and student scholarships. High School BBQ, Inc. is committed to its mission of supporting youth, vocational education, and agriculture in our communities.
The mission of the organization is to enrich the lives of our students through BBQ education, cook off competitions and character development. We establish strict guidelines and academic standards that will allow our student cooks to excel in the classroom and in their community.
