BBQ is bigger than just the food. It's a culture worth teaching, celebrating, and preserving. BBQ competitions engage students and enhances leadership skills, work ethics, and values. BBQ is a foundation for friendship, fellowship, and community building around the pit and table.
All teams must join the High School BBQ, Inc. association to participate in the cook-offs. The cost per team for membership is $200. The cost to participate in any competitions is $200 per event, per team.

All registration forms must be received in the HSBBQ office (via email or mail) no later than 11:59pm the Sunday before a competition. This allows host schools an accurate count for meat purchases and to plan the layout of the competition. You will be emailed a receipt once the check and application is received and processed.
Participants can pay for membership and competition fees through mail or at the competition event.
