Thank you for your consideration in support of the students, teachers, and schools of Texas' High School BBQ, Inc. (TXHSBBQ).
We support the methodology known as project-based learning to engage and inspire high school students to learn about the tradition of BBQing and to participate in BBQ competitions. The competitions are designed to teach young people teamwork, problem solving, time management, leadership, sportsmanship, work ethic, and to inspire a passion for BBQ.
High School BBQ, Inc. is a Non-Profit 501(c)(3), (Federal Tax Identification Number #83-1800494) and has been recognized as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All donations are tax-deductible and may be disclosed to the IRS. All revenue generated is reinvested into student scholarships, educational programs, and BBQ competition events.

The mission of the organization is to enrich the lives of our students through BBQ education, cook-off competitions, and character development. We establish strict guidelines and academic standards that will allow our pitmasters to excel in the classroom and in their community.
